The Central Eurasia Leadership Alliance (CELA) is looking for Nazarbayev University students to join as interns during its annual Leadership Academy, which brings together rising leaders from the business, civil, and public sectors across Central Asia and the Caucasus.
Please note: This announcement is for NU students only, as the event will be held at the NU Graduate School of Business.Interns will be asked to start their work on July 11, 2025 and complete on July 24, 2025. CELA interns’ work will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assisting CELA staff with relevant tasks, such as printing, copying and distributing documents, badges, nametags, etc;
- Attending lectures and assisting the faculty with organizing the Academy participants, materials, and venues;
- Supporting the logistical part of teamwork, workshops, or lectures;
- Ensuring technical tools and equipment are working;
- Checking the preparation of coffee breaks, lunches, and dinners;
- Going to the town for different arrangements;
- Assisting CELA staff with arrivals and departures of participants;
- Assisting with photo/video and social media production;
- Other.
Requirements for the CELA Academy interns:
- Fluent English and Kazakh;
- Good organizational and logistical skills;
- Familiarity and experience with editing apps and social media
- Flexibility with working hours;
The Interns will be provided with meals and accommodation at NU dorms. Certificates and $300 reimbursements will also be awarded at the end.
